Coty Inc. is a multinational beauty company that makes cosmetics, skin & hair products and fragrances.

Coty partnered with Shadow Factory to produce a virtual reality game and a Facebook augmented reality effect for their booth at the Shoppers Drug Mart’s internal trade show “Beauty of Innovation 2018for Canadian managers and beauty vendors.

I was responsible for the design and development of a Facebook AR filter using Coty’s logo mark. Working closely with the client I created a digital “selfie photo station” with props; a crown, butterflies flying off hands and blush makeup. Sharing branded selfie photos and videos on Social Media increases brand awareness and boosts website traffic.

The booth visitors could easily access the AR effect by scanning a printed QR code using their smart phones.
